Daycare & Boarding

A surprisingly spacious indoor play area is divided into two unique spaces:

  • the Larger space is for our more active visitors who enjoy running in and out the doggy door to the back garden with their friends

  • the smaller one is for those visitors who prefer some comforts and like to socialize without the high energy.

  • Interactive toys are available to those who need some encouragement.

 

The back garden is a large, fenced and secure outdoor exercise area which promotes learning and play.

 

We have some agility equipment pieces for the adventurous...pools for play and cooling, umbrellas are scattered throughout in the summer, we also have a small covered area for dogs to relieve themselves without getting their paws wet on rainy or snowy days.

 

We have a two combination surface throughout the yard: synthetic lawned areas which we keep cleared of snow in winter and round loose stone for the perimeter.

Dogs that are familiar with us and our facility, who attend our daycare regularly; are more comfortable staying overnight. This atmosphere is suitable for dogs that are sensitive to their environment and could be intimidated by larger dogs and the noise associated with larger facilities.

    • It's a good idea to pack a few days of extra food in case your return is delayed.

  • Medications

    • labeled with quantity and times to be administered

    • Please ensure there is enough for the entire visit plus a few days extra in case your return is delayed

    • Please note: there may be a slight charge associated with administering medications

  • Treats (indicate daily number of treats permitted)

  • Brushes and combs

  • Toy (for bedtime only)

  • Bedding (Smelly t-shirt or favourite blanket)

Our facility is scrupulously clean and sanitized daily.

 

We believe a healthy environment benefits both people and their pets, so we endeavour to employ “green” practices whenever possible.

We want you to feel confident about leaving your dog with Cloud 9 doggy daycare. Please call to arrange a visit and tour.

 

The dogs in our care are our first priority, so please be patient if you have a short wait.

** PLEASE NOTE:  Boarding dogs are subject to approval and require a thorough temperament assessment.   We want to ensure each dog is healthy and happy in our environment and placed with the most compatible group of dogs - so we need to get to know each of them.
